Mr. Lamb

This is Mr. Lamb.  If you know Truman (or have read this blog in the past), you know he is very loyal to one toy at a time.  We said goodbye to Little Lamb last year and have now moved on to Mr. Lamb.  We call him Mr. Lamb because he's a lot bigger than most of Truman's toys, and especially bigger than his previous lambs.  Don't worry, Truman doesn't judge his friends based on size! ;)

When Ellie was visiting a little while ago, she never stepped foot into her bed.  Truman, however, made himself quite at home!  Of course, Mr. Lamb had to join him.

And here he is loving Mr. Lamb in yet another room in our house.  He seriously doesn't go long without him.  If you ever can't find Truman, he's either doing something naughty, or in the exact position you see him above.  He looooves his Mr. Lamb!  Thanks, Kimmer & Joseph, for the best Christmas present ever!

Her dad called me the other day and told me an interesting escape story.  They left her gated in the house for just a few hours, and she greeted them at the door!  That's exactly what happened with her cousin Truman on his first day home alone.  They're just sure she's as sweet as can be, but I can see the signs!!! ;)

From now on, instead of Cleo, we'll just call her Truman Junior!

Welcome to the family, little lady!  We can't wait to meet you!  Too bad you live all the way in San Francisco, so it might be awhile.  Your cousins can't wait to teach you all kinds of naughtiness when you come to Houston for Thanksgiving.  Harry says, "No matter what Truman tells you, stay away from Grandmommy's tree!!!"  And Tru says, "Jeeze, just live a little!"

When no one's looking, this guy can be a little naughty too!!!   Yes, that's my blue knit throw I keep at the end of the bed...he turned it into HIS bed and, in the process, snagged it all over!!!  I guess he was just trying to stay warm!  Maybe its time to break out the sweaters...

He's Baaaack!

I realized I haven't posted many naughty Truman stories lately.  Weird.  Like the title said, he's baaaack!  I suppose the holidays are just around the corner, so he is earning his Naughty status for his stocking! ;)  I happened to have a cold for the last week, so I kept a box of tissues on my nightstand for use throughout the night (TMI?).  They were even the good kind with lotion on them since I was going through boxes at a time!!!  I'm sure you can imagine what happened when I wasn't looking...in fact, I was working so hard on the new blog header that I didn't even notice Truman wasn't around.  Naughty little boy! ;)

I have to keep reminding him that Santa is coming very soon, and there just might be a lump of coal in his stocking if he doesn't shape up!  On a side note, my students looooove to hear naughty Truman stories.  It's their favorite pasttime every afternoon!  =)

Truman loves his new bed so much, he has to take it with him throughout the house!  Thanks, Grandmommy and Granddaddy, for their new beds!!!  Comfy and chic! =)
