Sit back, relax, and just watch my pups play together.
The first thing they do each morning is jump up on the bed for some cuddle time!!! Yes, in a follow-up to a previous post, the pups are now OFF the bed at night! It didn't quite go according to plan. They are just too cute to resist. But after an 11:30 wake-up to the sound of heaving and the worst smell I've ever experienced in my life, they had to go!!! Now they're gated in our bathroom every night with their cozy little beds. We only hear them when the alarm clock goes off in the morning. That's when they know they're free!
So back to the cute part...Truman always jumps up right next to me and licks my face twice. Then he plops down as close as he can into my nook. Next, Harry (being the shy one that he is) jumps up after hiding under the bed and playing coy for about 15 seconds. He cautiously approaches Peter (his favorite petter) and then gives in and rolls right up next to him for a belly rub. But, just wait for it...what happens next is the sweetest thing in the whole wide world. Truman is a relentless licker. He usually attacks my hand first....and the instant Harry hears it, he leans over and starts licking Truman's eyes. I know, I know, sounds weird to all of you non-dog-obsessed people...but it really is just too sweet for words!
My two guys really do love each other, and I'm so glad they can keep each other company when we're gone all day at work! No pictures to post, just a sweet story! =)
